子どもたちは夏休みに入りましたね。コロナ禍でも、おひとりおひとりが楽しい時間を過ごせるといいですね。お母さま方の中には、お弁当作り生活が始まって朝から大忙しの方も多いのではないでしょうか？私もそんなひとりです。
さて、子宮頸がんワクチンは現在、定期接種としての実施を中止されていますが、小学校6年生から高校1年生の女の子は無料で受けられます。接種をご希望の方は夏休み期間にご検討されてはいかがでしょうか？一方で、ワクチンとの因果関係を否定できない持続的な疼痛が子宮頸がん予防ワクチン接種後に特異的に見られ、今も苦しんでいらっしゃる方のことを思いますと、それは決して無視できない事実であり、慎重な経過観察が必要と考えます。しかし、医学的には複合性局所疼痛症候群といって、ワクチン以外にもさまざま要因で起こりうる原因不明で持続する慢性疼痛の病態もあることから、ワクチンの定期接種を中止するほどの根拠は今のところないとされています。
接種をするかしないかは、お子さまと保護者さまの十分な理解と同意が必要で、強制されるものではありません。ワクチンの副反応ばかりが表立っておりますが、子宮頸がんにより、年間3000人もの女性が命を落とし、その年齢も、妊娠や出産そして子育てをする適齢期の女性たちであるという辛い事実にも目を向けるべきでしょう。
子宮頸がんワクチンは3種類あります。当院ではいずれも選択できますが、公費（無料）の接種券を使用できるのは、2価のサーバリックスと4価のガーダシルのみです。当院ではガーダシルの選択をお勧めしております。もう一つは9価のシルガード９といって、自費になります。数字に表れている通り、数字の数は子宮頸がんの原因であるヒトパピローマウイルスの予防できる型の数になります。多ければ多いほどカバーできるという意味ではシルガード９が推奨されますが、公費で接種できる年齢のうちに、原因ウィルス型の大半がカバーできる、ガーダシルを接種していただくことをお勧めします。性行動が活発化する年齢に到達する前に接種を終えるのが理想ですが、公費の対象年齢が外れてしまった女性の方は、高価なワクチンではありますが、シルガード９の接種をお勧めしています。なお、未成年の方の接種の際は必ず、保護者の付き添いが必要です。子宮頸がんワクチンについて、さらに詳しく知りたい方には、日本産婦人科学会のホームページに詳しく書かれていますので、ぜひこちらをご覧ください。http://www.jsog.or.jp/modules/jsogpolicy/index.php?content_id=4
The Japanese government has withheld to inform that adolescent girls can get a vaccination for free to the HPV vaccine by mailing the routine vaccination paper. It is still unknown if there is a relationship between the adverse effects of sustained pain and the HPV vaccine. On the other hand, it is also true that around 3000 young women have died from cervical cancer per year, which is also called mother killer.
It has been reported that the frequency of various symptoms that cannot be recovered by the cervical cancer vaccine is about 5 per 100,000. You can choose among the three types of vaccines that are available in Japan in our clinic to prevent cervical cancer . Those are a bivalent vaccine (Cervarix) containing antigens to the HPV type 16 and 18 viruses, which are most frequently detected from domestic and foreign patients with cervical cancer, a tetravalent vaccine (Gardasil) containing the type 6 and 11 viruses, and the nine-valent vaccine (Silgard) containing the HPV type 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58.
I recommend choosing Gardasil if you are an 11 to 14 years old girl because you can inoculate the vaccine for free. If you are past the age of routine vaccination, I recommend Silgard 9 because you have to pay for the vaccine as optional vaccination. You have to be inoculated three times, whichever vaccines you choose. It is essential to come with a guardian.
