I went to Shiga prefecture, located in the east of Kyoto, in Golden Week. I enjoyed visiting Mt. Hiei Enryakuji Temple and Ishiyama temple, in addition to sightseeing around Lake Biwa. It was hard to walk around the temples because there are so many steps; however, I found my worries almost disappeared and felt refreshed in front of the solemn and quiet scenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As for Ishiyamadera, there were many tourists who want to feel the history of the drama “Hikarukimi-he”. This temple is known as the place where noblewoman Murasaki Shikibu began writing The Tale of Genji, the world’s first novel. I found the old Japanese traditional poem which was written by her great-grandfather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I believed that I could keep calm. But I totally lost my cool in worrying about my child.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I realized that even though the common sense of the world has changed over the course of more than a thousand years, the feelings that parents have for their children remain the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
